Meet the Rat

Hi theres!

I’ve been gaming since I was 8 years old. I got a NES for Christmas that year. It’s been 20 21 years since then, and although my tastes have changed my passion has not. I have fosaken consoles in favor of PC’s — I enjoy the custom options and tweaking, and the overall nerd-factor inherent to PC’s. I plan to build my first rig sometime this year, I built my first rig last year, and it’s going to be a screamer.

In my free time I do freelance graphic design, writing, the occasional sketch, and reading. My current poison is George Martin, although he seems to have stalled. I have a fondness for drink, perhaps because my roots are Scott and Irish — right down to the auburn hair, fair skin, freckles, and fiery temper. I love whiskey and scotch, most dark liquors, and prefer stout, dark beer over the pale piss we have in America.

EQ2 has been part of my daily life for over 4 years, now.

In addition to gaming I like to read books of all types, though my tastes typically range in serious short fiction, mainstream fiction, and fantasy. I love music, particularly hard rock, alternative, electronica, and industrial. I love movies of all types, even the occassional action or romance flick, but mostly dramas, horror, pulp, or period film. Or any combination thereof. Let’s see … this is starting to sound like a personal ad, now. Okay. Nuff said for the moment!
