I’ve been gaming for over 22 years. I got a NES for Christmas in 1988, and haven’t looked back. My console adventures have taken place on the aforementioned, as well as the Turbo-Grafx 16, Super Nintendo, Playstation 1 and 2, and the PC. Some of my favorite games have included: The Legend of Zelda & A Link to the Past, Gauntlet, Maniac Mansion, Bonk’s Adventure, The Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Wipeout XL, and Final Fantasy IV (originally II, on the SNES), VII & IX.
For the past several years I’ve gamed almost exclusively on the PC. I built my first system in 2008, using YouTube videos as guides. EQ2 has been part of my daily life for over 6 years, now. My other adventures in MMO-land have taken place in the respectable worlds of: World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Lord of the Rings Online, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Champions Online, and yes, even Free Realms. I’ve been involved in many beta tests for both AAA and smaller, F2P titles, Western and Eastern-developed, alike. Aside from MMO’s, my PC favorites have included Death Gate, Ultima VIII: Pagan, the Sim City games and the Sims, Divine Divinity, Sacred, Neverwinter Nights, and, more recently, the Mass Effect games, and Dragon Age. Given that track record, the MMO was the perfect amalgamation of interests.
In my free time I design, write, occasionally sketch, and read. My obsession with fantasy certainly began with reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings sometime before the age of 13. From then on, favorite authors’ works include Salvatore’s Homeland, Weis & Hickman’s Death Gate Cycle, Tad Williams’ Shadowmarch series, and George Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire (lord willing the man will finally get on with it, soon.) Other pass-times include watching British dramas and comedies, listening to electronica, industrial, and 90′s alternative grunge rock, usually while eating pizza or sushi. Oh and I do that whole thing called “work” … but that’s not real life, and its dull, besides!

The “pale piss” we have in America? Lovely. Great photo–don’t look to bad for a rat. Hmmm…I never thought you had a firey temper.
Love you,
Kentucky Preggy Mama (and gettin’ bigger with each passing day)
Where did you learn your language, boy?
(And I’m not talking just on your home page …)
Just found your blog via Sres’s link on our guild site.
I’ve added a link to our blogroll at MMO-Symposium.com, so thought I’d let you know. If you think we are worth linking to, feel free to add one here.
Keep up the posting.
Thanks, I’ll be sure to add you.
